Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. Just the home servr system appears to be inexcessable to us. We can get to all of our files, no problem. We not get the error below when we try to access it from any of our computers. My surprise was that it turned up the following day the 13/07/11 at around 9:20am, I now have the power supply fitted which was not that hard to do I also took the opportunity to clean lots of dust out from the casing as it was stripped down, my server is now all clean and running again. From a company called OverTek Ltd in the UK, I would just like to say how fast the service was from this company, I ordered on the afternoon of the 12/07/11 and was expecting delivery of this within two to three days, on the same day the 12th I received an email saying it had been dispatched. Hello everyone I thought I would make this post for all you mediasmart owners, I recently had the misfortune to have my power supply in my EX470 burn out, I did some forum searching and came up with the following replacement. Do any forum members know whether HP is proposing to update the software at any time soon ? I notice issues like this being posted fairly regularly since the EX49x series was first released about 18 months ago. Whilst the box functions effectively as a NAS without the service running that isn't exactly why I bought this device. However, if I disable HPMssService.exe and restart the box I notice that my pretty little blue lights don't work now, the network icon flashes an error and the WHS Console reports a pile of errors every minute. So I tried to remove all devcies from Media Collector and disable it's services. Multiple threads report HPMssService.exe chewing all the CPU, which it does for me, and say it is related to HP Media Collector. Current issue is related to HP Media Collector and HPMssService.exe. As an HP employee myself I have to say that my experience so far does not exactly paint us in a good light. So far I have to say I am extremely disappointed with it as virtually nothing in the brochure actually works as advertised.
